It will be at least Friday before we see the Cardinals back on the field.
Major League Baseball announced Monday afternoon that the doubleheader between the Cardinals and Tigers that had been set for Thursday in Detroit has been postponed. The Cardinals have not played a game since July 29.
#STLCards doubleheader against the Tigers on Thursday is postponed. This was supposed to be the makeup of last week's series at Comerica Park. More on the Cardinals' resumption will come later this week as they go through additional testing and let results guide the next steps.

Based on the latest results we have heard, the Cardinals are up to 17 cases of COVID-19 — 10 players and seven staff members.
With this doubleheader postponed, St. Louis’s next scheduled game is Friday in Chicago against the White Sox. After three against the White Sox over the weekend, there are games scheduled between the Cardinals and Cubs at Wrigley Field next Monday through Wednesday. The Cardinals would return home next Thursday, 8/20.
The Cardinals have played only five games thus far in 2020.
