MLB: ALDS-Tampa Bay Rays at New York Yankees Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Friday, everyone! The stage for the NLCS is set: the Dodgers and the Braves. Both teams advanced after sweeping their best-of-five matchups against the Padres and Marlins, respectively. The Astros clinched their spot in the ALCS as well, downing the Athletics in four games. The only game on slate for this Friday is the fifth and decisive game between the Yankees and Rays.

Gerrit Cole will make the start against Tyler Glasnow. Cole worked six innings in Game One and allowed three runs, on home runs from Randy Arozarena and Ji-Man Choi. Glasnow started Game Two for the Rays and allowed a pair of home runs — both to Giancarlo Stanton. Glasnow whiffed 10 in the game, one where Rays pitchers compiled 18 strikeouts.

The ALCS will start on Sunday at Petco Park, and the NLCS will be played at Globe Life Field starting Monday.

  1. Yankees or Rays... who are you picking tonight?
  2. What would you rather see the least: a Dodgers World Series title or an Astros World Series title?
