Good morning and happy Friday to you. We’re only in day three no baseball and the offseason drama is already swirling in St. Louis. On Wednesday, the Cardinals announced that they have declined the option of second baseman Kolten Wong, making him a free agent, joining Yadier Molina and Adam Wainwright on the open market.

Outside of the free agency buzz, Hall of Famer and former Cardinals skipper Tony La Russa was announced as the new manager of the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. TLR is 76 years old and last managed back in 2011. Since then, he has worked in off-field positions, most recently with the Angels.
