MLB: World Series-Tampa Bay Rays at Los Angeles Dodgers Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone!

After their 3-1 win in Game 6 on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers are the 2020 World Series champions, taking down the Rays 4-2 in the series. For the Dodgers, it was their first title since 1988.

Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager was named MVP of the World Series, adding to the NLCS MVP title he earned recently. Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena homered in the first inning of Game 6, his 10th home run of this Postseason. The Dodgers scored twice in the sixth and again on a Mookie Betts homer in the eighth.

If you were wondering, the Cardinals’ 2021 season opener is set for Thursday, April 1, in Cincinnati against the Reds.

Have a great Wednesday!
