Good morning, everybody! Happy Friday, at last. Game 3 of the World Series between the Dodgers and Rays is set for tonight at 7:08 PM CT. The series is tied at a game apiece and now has a ‘best-of-five’ feel.
In Friday’s game, the Rays are the home team, with a starting pitching matchup of Walker Buehler and Charlie Morton. Buehler has 1.89 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 19 innings across four starts this Postseason; Morton allowed one earned run in his first start of the Postseason but that has been it thus far, giving him a 0.57 ERA in 15 2⁄3 frames this fall.
A look at Buehler’s last World Series start, from True Blue LA. (Note: it was pretty good.) Morton worked against these Dodgers back in 2017, when he was with the Astros. Morton pitched into the seventh inning in a start and hurled four relief innings.
Who are you taking for Game 3?
Have a great weekend!
