MLB: ALCS-Tampa Bay Rays at Houston Astros Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Wednesday, all! Today is a potential clinch day; the Rays are one win away from the World Series. The Braves are also up 2-0 on the Dodgers and are now 7-0 in the 2020 Postseason.

A quick recap of Tuesday’s games:

Rays 5, Astros 2; Series 3-0 TB - The Rays took advantage of a Jose Altuve throwing error and put up five runs in the sixth inning on Tuesday, lifting them to a 5-2 win. Randy Arozarena went 3-for-4 with a double and a walk, and Joey Wendle and Hunter Renfroe each drove in two runs. Renfroe entered the game as a pinch-hitter and later took over in the outfield after Kevin Kiermaier was hit by a pitch in his hand. On the other side, the Astros left 10 runners on base on Tuesday and have 30 LOB in the first three games, going just 3-for-24 with runners in scoring position.

Braves 8, Dodgers 7; Series 2-0 ATL - The Braves sure tried to invite the Dodgers to tie the ballgame in the bottom of the ninth on Tuesday. The Braves held a 6-0 lead after five innings and led 8-3 going to the bottom of the ninth. After plating four runs, Los Angeles stranded the tying run on third base and dropped Game 2 to the Braves, 8-7. Josh Tomlin gave up three runs in the ninth inning, and Atlanta had to go to closer Mark Melancon to stop the bleeding. Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies homered for the Braves, and Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager had a big night: 2-for-4, double, homer, and four runs batted in.

So.. what are we thinking today? Will the Rays complete a four-game sweep of the Astros?

Hope everyone has a great day!
