MLB: NLCS-Atlanta Braves at Los Angeles Dodgers Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone!

Rays 4, Astros 2; Series 2-0 TB: Manuel Margot’s three-run blast in the first inning proved to be all the Rays needed on Monday, as another strong effort from the staff held the Astros at bay. Charlie Morton worked five scoreless frames, and four relievers combined for the last four innings. The Astros were 1-for-8 with RISP and stranded 11. Astros starter Lance McCullers logged seven innings and punched out 11, but that first inning made him Monday’s loser.

Braves 5, Dodgers 1; Series 1-0 ATL: A game that was tied at 1-1 since the fifth inning ended with a 5-1 Atlanta win on Monday. Austin Riley led off the top of the ninth facing Blake Treinen with a go-ahead home run. Ozzie Albies followed with a two-run shot after Marcell Ozuna’s RBI knock. Braves starter Max Fried turned in six innings and whiffed nine. On the LA side, Walker Buehler walked five batters, but the only run he allowed was Freddie Freeman’s solo homer in the top of the first. The Dodgers’ only run came on Kiké Hernandez’s solo homer.

Have a great Tuesday!
