Never before has baseball had a day like Wednesday. Eight playoff games spread across the day, starting early and lasting well into the night. It was the closest the sport may ever get to March Madness. It was a good day for the Cardinals, so even if you don’t like the eight-game madness, a win was nice!
According to the latest SB Nation Reacts survey, a majority of fans loved the rollercoaster. But many hope it doesn’t become a regular event.

The onslaught of baseball continued through Thursday, although with slightly fewer games. Fans appeared to embrace the extreme nature of the day. The excitement, however, clearly created some tired fans.
When asked which one word best described the frenetic nature of the games, fans reactions ranged from excited to flat out beat.
