Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cardinals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

After taking two of three from the Mets last weekend and taking all three games from the Brewers this week, the Cardinals are up to a 15-9 record and have a .625 winning percentage. Entering Thursday, that is the best record in the National League.

Based on this week’s FanPulse results, the Cardinals’ winning streak has lead to a 98 percent confidence rating from the surveyed fans. That is the highest it has been all season and is up five percent from last week.

So, it makes sense that the approval rating for manager Mike Shildt is also the highest it has been all season. The approval rating for him is 98 percent, too, and is up from 93 percent as well.

The league-wide question asked this week had to do with pitchers intentionally hitting batters, stemming from last week’s incident between the Royals and White Sox. There have been questions about the word ‘bean’ being used; that word was to mean hitting a batter for retaliation, like in his thigh or in another fleshy area - certainly not in his head. That would obviously never be acceptable. We apologize for the confusion.

That does it for this week’s results. To sign up to participate in our weekly surveys, please use the link at the top of this post!
