Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Cardinals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Cardinals are just half a game back in the NL Central, but fans’ confidence hasn’t quite rebounded to where it was before Opening Day.

75% of Cardinals fans surveyed said they are still optimistic about the direction the team is headed, down just one percent from last week’s survey. Those numbers fell from 96% confidence ahead of the start of the season.

We asked fans of all 30 teams how they felt about the concept of bat flips. Fun celebration or big unwritten rule violation?

Most fans were in favor of the bat flips, but nearly 30% were still not here for the practice. To each their own.
