St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training Guide: March 18-24

This is the final week of Spring Training, friends. You may now get excited.

The Cardinals will open up the 2019 regular season a week from this Thursday against one of their divisional rivals, the Milwaukee Brewers. After playing at Miller Park over that weekend, the Cardinals will then venture to PNC Park, home of the Pirates, before returning to the Gateway City to reign in the new season at Busch Stadium.

But first: We have one more week of exhibition play!

On Monday, the Cardinals will host the Phillies at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter at 12:05 PM Central time. Newest Phillie Bryce Harper has been sidelined since Friday after getting hit by a pitch on his ankle and is expected to return for this game. Dakota Hudson will make the start for St. Louis; this is his fifth outing of the spring. You can catch this game on Fox Sports Midwest and MLB.tv or listen on KMOX 1120 and the Cardinals Radio Network.

After a day off on Tuesday, the Cardinals will be the home team in their 12:05 PM date with the Marlins on Wednesday afternoon. Matt Carpenter is expected to return to the lineup after being scratched from Sunday’s game with back stiffness. This game is set to be on Fox Sports Midwest and MLB.TV, and an audio broadcast of this game will be on MLB.com Radio.

Thursday is a split-squad day for the Cardinals. The first game will be in Jupiter, a 12:05 PM meeting with the Yankees. This matchup can be found on Fox Sports Midwest, MLB.TV, KMOX, and the Cardinals Radio Network. The second game on Thursday is scheduled for a 5:35 PM first pitch against the Nationals. you can follow along on MLB.com Radio.

Friday will feature a 12:10 contest with the Mets in Port St. Lucie. You have many options to take this one in. Fox Sports Midwest, MLB.TV, and MLB Network will air this game, in addition to MLB.com Radio.

On Saturday, the Cardinals will be in West Palm Beach to see the Nationals at 12:05. On Sunday, the Cardinals will finish off their Grapefruit League campaign against the Marlins at the same time.
