On Sunday, the 53rd annual Super Bowl will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The New England Patriots will represent the AFC and be opposed by the Los Angeles Rams of the NFC.

This is only the Rams’ third season back in Los Angeles, as they left St. Louis at the end of the 2015-16 season on a rather sour note for those in the Gateway City. I don’t live in St. Louis, but I can imagine the dark cloud that is looming over the area this weekend.

Personally, I don’t watch much football. I understand the rules of the game just enough to watch it every so often, but that’s pretty much all. I’m definitely a baseball person. Nonetheless, I know many, many people who devote their Sundays to football games, and I bet some of you guys are like that, too. Or used to be, anyway..
