For the third-straight year, here is your David Eckstein grand slam post - A Hunt and Peck

My nickname is “Scooter” so by law, my favorite player growing up had to be David Eckstein. David Eckstein was often appreciated for his determination and work-ethic. As an undersized athlete, he not only found, but embraced his calling as being a scrappy, gritty, lovable infielder. He is awesome. Not that I even need to, but to further prove this point, I will embed his parody commercial for the fictional law office on Parks and Rec:

Why am I discussing the former Cardinals and 2006 World Series MVP today? Because while the Cardinals grounded into a double-play with one out and the bases loaded in the top of ninth yesterday, thirteen years ago today, David Eckstein hit a walk-off grand slam. Here is it:
