Last week it was announced that Carlos Martinez would go on the ten-day disabled list to rest a right-lat strain. It was estimated he would miss just one start. That does not appear to be the case as today he is scheduled to have another MRI taken.
Some injury updates:— Derrick Goold (@dgoold) May 16, 2018
Carlos Martinez going for another MRI on Thursday to determine if there has been improvement in his lat injury. Won't start this weekend.
Luke Gregerson has issue with shoulder that's put him on the DL, but #stlcards reveal there is also concern about elbow.
So, Carlos Martinez will get another MRI on his right side tomorrow. Sometimes, lat injuries can linger a month or more.— Mark Saxon (@markasaxon) May 16, 2018
Hopefully the MRI comes back clean!
