Cardinals news and notes: Gregerson, Weaver, and Urias

The weekend at VEB.

Here are the posts that went up on Viva El Birdos Dot Com over the weekend.

  • I did the preview post for new St. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Luke Gregerson, who as it turns out is going to start the 2018 season on the Disabled List. Oops!
  • Speaking of Cardinals pitchers named Luke, Josey Curtis unveiled the projections among the VEB community for starting pitcher Luke Weaver. As of the time I wrote this sentence, Weaver isn’t hurt, so that’s a plus.
  • Aaron Schafer took a deep dive into Cardinals minor league prospect Ramon Urias, a player I knew absolutely nothing about but now, after having read the post, I know absolutely something about.

Hey, there’s meaningful baseball in three days. That’s cool.
