Cardinals Baseball. On TV!

We’ll see just how often it seems worth it to do a Game Thread for Spring Training games, but this is the first one so we will give it a shot. If you haven’t seen the lineup, it includes the Cardinals debut of Marcell Ozuna, although not in the field. Three intriguing outfield prospects in Harrison Bader, Tyler O’Neill, and Oscar Mercado are all set to start as well. Jack Flaherty opens the action today. He might not start the season in St. Louis, but he figures to play a prominent role for the Cardinals this season.

Here’s the lineup from Derrick Goold.

As for who else is pitching. There are some arms to keep an eye on.

Jordan Hicks seems to have the most upside of the group, but Connor Greene throws hard and will get his first shot in a Cardinals uniform after coming over in the Randal Grichuk trade. Jordan Schafer takes another shot at becoming a two-way player.

Enjoy the game. It is on Fox Sports Midwest and MLB.tv with radio on KMOX.
