The Milwaukee Brewers just threw down the gauntlet - A Hunt and Peck

On Thursday news broke that the Brewers had traded for Christian Yelich. Later that day more news broke that the team would also sign Lorenzo Cain. As of now, the rumors are the Brewers are looking for rotation help and would be willing to trade for it.

Folks, the Brewers just stepped it up.

Did they leapfrog past the Cardinals? Well, that remains to be seen depending on if they are able to get the pitching they are looking for. But they certainly became better and the scariest part:

They became better beyond 2018.

As for 2018, the NL Central just got a bit tougher. Should be fun!
