Last night, the Hall of Fame announced the election of Chipper Jones, Vladimir Guerrero, Jim Thome, and Trevor Hoffman. None of those players ever played for the Cardinals. Larry Walker got a bit of a boost, up to 34% while Jason Isringhausen and Chris Carpenter fell off the ballot. Scott Rolen will get another shot as he received about 1 in 10 votes, and will not have to suffer the fate of Jim Edmonds, who was one and done. We will have more on Rolen this morning.
As for yesterday, Ben Godar wrote about Allen Craig signing with the Padres. We are all rooting for him.
A. E. Schafer discussed the factors in play in order for the Cardinals to win the division.
Adam Wainwright and Luke Weaver went down to the Dominican Republic and Haiti to do some charitable work with Big League Impact and lil_scooter got a hold of a bunch of great pictures.
In counting down Cardinals prospects, we have reached #28, Johan Oviedo, a big guy with a big curve.
