No free agents signed yesterday, unless you count Brian Duensing, who went back to the Cubs. We should probably count Brian Duensing. We really have to count Brian Duensing because nothing is happening and there are still so many good free agents left.

Yesterday, Ben Godar discussed the confidence the Cardinals have in Paul DeJong. It must be a lot of confidence because if things go south for DeJong this year like they did last year, there doesn’t appear to be a backup ready for the full-time job. Of course, that’s also what we said last year about Aledmys Diaz and then Paul DeJong showed up.

AE Schafer continued his preview of this year’s MLB Draft, profiling some arms he prefers. He also discussed the players attached to those arms.

Connor Jones gets his prospect profile for the year.

We’ve got a lot of good stuff coming for you over the next few days so keep an eye out.
