Nothing happened this weekend. Nope, no baseball was played. Weird, right? And in the middle of September. Anyway, I’m supposed to recap stuff that happened over the weekend, which is an impossible task since nothing happened, but I’ll try my best I suppose.
- On Saturday, Ben Markham wrote about the success of rookies for the 2017 St. Louis Cardinals.
- Tyler O’Neill is being productive in Memphis, and the red baron talked about how loaded the outfield picture looks for the Cardinals in 2018.
- Josey Curtis previewed the decisive game in the PCL championship series between the Memphis Redbirds and the El Paso Chihuahuas on Sunday.
- The Cardinals did not play over the weekend, as mentioned before, so I have nothing to add here. Had the Cardinals played, this is where I would link to IHeartBoog’s recap of Saturday’s game and VanHicklestein’s recap of Sunday’s game, but again, nothing happened.
