Stuff happened this weekend.
- Ben Markham wrote about the case for the Cardinals completely rebuilding from the ground up, a la the Houston Astros or Chicago Cubs earlier this decade. It’s not a stance I necessarily agree with, but Ben did some good work and crunched a lot of numbers I’m currently too tired to understand.
- In case you want to focus on things other than the St. Louis Cardinals, for some reason, Josey Curtis wrote about the farm system’s developments over the past week.
- A bunch of players came up to the Cardinals on Sunday. Unfortunately, this does not mean the Cardinals get to play with 28 players, though really they should be allowed. Two players were sent to the Disabled List and another was sent to the minors. I recapped the happenings here.
- The Cardinals played the Pirates on Saturday, and lost an annoying game 7-3. It was recapped by IHeartBoog. On Sunday, the Cardinals won a less annoying game 8-4, and that one was recapped by VanHicklestein.
