Some stuff happened in baseball over the weekend. For the St. Louis Cardinals, much of it was good! Here was some stuff that was written.
- Ben Markham imagined the Cardinals as sellers. In his defense, this was written before it became abundantly clear that the St. Louis Cardinals will never lose another baseball game again.
- In the vein of looking into the future for baseball, the red baron looked at some players in the upcoming MLB Draft, which begins on Tuesday because I do not formally recognize baseball teams other than the Cardinals.
- Josey Curtis looked back at a week of Cardinals farm system developments.
- The Cardinals, formerly (half a week ago) a bad baseball team, played the Philadelphia Phillies, formerly a good baseball team, and the Cardinals swept them. IHeartBoog recapped Saturday’s game, defined by Carlos Martinez’s masterful pitching, while VanHicklestein recapped Sunday’s game.
Off-day today, but there’s a doubleheader tomorrow, plus a bunch of games in the days following that!
