So, how about that weather yesterday, right? Temperatures in the seventies, if you live in St. Louis. Pretty awesome. Anyway, it’s still not baseball season.
But it will be soon. The St. Louis Cardinals will have games and that will be cool and good. In the meantime, here is some premium baseball content to whet your baseballing appetite.
Adam Wainwright
I wrote about Adam Wainwright’s place in Cardinals history. While he doesn’t quite stack up with Bob Gibson’s counting stats, one can make a reasonable case that he is indeed the second-best pitcher in the long and storied history of the franchise. Which is pretty good.
Randy Arozarena
The red baron’s analysis of Cardinals minor league prospect Randy Arozarena was posted, and you can learn more about one of the lesser-known talents who could still realistically eventually reach the Majors.
Opening Day
Lil underscore scooter ninety-three asked the question of who will start Opening Day 2017 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Will it be Carlos Martinez, probably the best pitcher on the staff, or Adam Wainwright, an Opening Day mainstay? Or will it be somebody else (it won’t)?
Seung-Hwan Oh
Josey Curtis wrote about Seung-Hwan Oh, who was listed at #7 on MLB Network’s list of the top relievers in baseball. It was indeed a lofty designation given that 2016 was his rookie season, though not an absurd designation given how excellent Oh was last year.
Weather should still be nice today. Enjoy that. Read all of these posts while outside.
