This is now the second off day this week for the Cardinals, and while I'm sure the Cardinals can use some rest, that doesn't mean we have to. For those who pay attention to other sports, there are a few interesting games on.
But first, there have been a few more MLB Draft signings. We are keeping track of those here if interested.
Game 6 of the NBA Finals is tonight featuring the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. While I can't profess to knowing too much about the NBA this year or how the teams have looked, players who have garnered controversy regarding ability, tactics, or not being a good sport include Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green. If the Cavaliers win tonight there will be another game before the end of the season. If Golden State wins, then the season is over. This game starts at 8 pm CT on ABC.
On the soccer side of the equation, the United States Men's National Team (USMNT) is in the Copa America. This is a tournament that includes the countries from both North and South America. The tournament has not always featured teams from North America, but they do this year and the tournament takes place in the US. The USMNT has played three games so far, losing to Colombia in their opening match, but winning their group of four teams by beating Costa Rica and Paraguay. As a result, they are playing against Ecuador in Seattle for a trip to the semifinals. The game starts at 8:30 pm CT on FS1.
There is also other baseball on to talk about if you wish.
