The Cardinals are now playing their second game of the season against the Marlins in their shared complex in Jupiter, Florida. Going at it for the Cardinals at Roger Dean Stadium is Marco Gonzales. While this start is not all that important for Gonzales, the spring can help re-establish Gonzales as a potential callup should a pitcher go down at some point this season.
This game marks the first game of the Spring Training schedule that will appear on Fox Sports Midwest. The game will also be on MLB.tv with the radio broadcast on KMOX. The full schedule of television, streaming, and audio broadcasts can be found here.
As for who else will be playing, Matt Holliday was expected to make his spring debut at first base.
