On the final Friday night of the Arizona Fall League, the Glendale Desert Dogs took on the Scottsdale Scorpions at Scottsdale Stadium.

Big nights from infielder Cody Bellinger and outfielder Harrison Bader powered the Desert Dogs to a 5-2 victory over the Scorpions on Friday night at Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Bellinger of the Dodgers’ organization cracked his third homer of the Arizona Fall League in the fifth inning, accounting for his fifteenth and sixteenth RBIs of the exhibition season. Bellinger hit 26 homers in 117 games this regular season and owns an OPS of 1.037 in seventeen games this fall.

By going 3-for-5 with his second two-bagger of the fall, Bader contributed to Glendale’s victory as well. On Saturday afternoon, the Desert Dogs will host these same Scorpions at Camelback Ranch in Glendale. For the Desert Dogs, Nolan Sanburn, a White Sox farmhand, will take on Scorpions hurler Brody Koerner of the Yankees’ farm system.
