MLB released their spring training threads for each team on Thursday. Here's what the Cardinals will be wearing:

I mean, those are fine. But as a baseball card collector from the late 1980s, I would really like to see a return to something along these lines:
That's the good stuff. Anyway, here's what you missed at VEB on Thursday:
Cardinals Prospects
- Joe Schwarz had a conversation with Cardinals pitching prospect Austin Gomber about his pitching repertoire, his goals and expectations for the coming year, and Taylor Swift. What say you, commenters?

Matt Holliday
- Given it's the season of top-tier free agents and opt-outs, I looked back fondly at Matt Holliday's contract. If for some odd reason Holliday is the worst player in the history of baseball in 2016, we'd still be lucky to have had him these last seven years.
Tsunamy's Glove Drive
- Carlos Martinez is doing good work in his hometown in the Dominican.
Usss @BETEYAH tournament in Puerto Plata was great! Thank you #CardinalNation for the glove donations! Videos soon! pic.twitter.com/zkcN1QYghm
