The St. Louis Cardinals (52-28) face the San Diego Padres (39-44) in the finale of the teams' four-game holiday-weekend series at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals seek to salvage a split out of the series. The St. Louis offense has managed six runs combined in the first three games of the series.
