It's a National League Central showdown at Busch Stadium. The first-place St. Louis Cardinals (63-35) host the second-to-last-place Cincinnati Reds (43-53) in the first of a three-game series under the shadow of the Gateway Arch. After giving Jhonny Peralta and Yadier Molina Sunday afternoon off, manager Mike Matheny is benching Matt Holliday and Randal Grichuk tonight.

Grichuk news is positive. All exams came back good. #STLCards giving him a day or 2, but could be available tonight.
