All of the St. Louis Cardinals minor-league affiliates were in action over the weekend. Below, I've given the scores of the Cardinals' minor league games. After that, I've listed some individual prospect performances of note.

  • Nick Plummer, the Cardinals' No. 1 pick in the 2015 MLB Draft, went 3-for-3 with a walk on Friday.
  • Magneuris Sierra and Chris Chinnea both continued to hit well for Johnson City, with two hits apiece on Friday.
  • On Friday, Paul DeJong doubled and walked for the Low-A Chiefs.
  • Carson Kelly notched three hits for Palm Beach on Friday, including a double.
  • Charlie Tilson went 2-for-5 for Springfield and scored a run.
  • Anthony Garcia notched three hits, including a double.
  • Tommy Pham went 2-for-3 with a walk and a pair of ribbies for Memphis.
Pitching Performances of Note
  • For Palm Beach on Friday, Daniel Poncedeleon put up the following line: 7 IP, 3 SO, 0 BB, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER.
  • Luke Weaver also started for Palm Beach, putting up a sterling line:  6 IP, 8 SO, 0 BB, 6 H, 1 R, 1 ER.

  • Michael Pritchard, Casey Grayson, Leobaldo Pina, and Cole Lankford all rapped out two hits—none of which went for extra bases.
  • Harrison Bader drew two walks and doubled for Peoria.
  • Patrick Wisdom went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI.
  • Anthony Garcia went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks.
  • Jacob Wilson notched two singles for the Redbirds.
  • Tommy Pham went 0-for-2 with two walks and scored two runs for Memphis.

  • For State College, Leobaldo Pina went 4-for-5 with three doubles and four RBI.
  • Oscar Mercado had three hits for Peoria, including a double, and also swiped a bag.
  • Paul DeJong went 0-for-2 for Peoria, but walked twice and scored a run.
  • For Springfield, Patrick Wisdom was 1-for-4 with a dinger, a walk, and three strikeouts.
  • Charlie Tilson went 2-for-5 for Springfield with a pair of strikeouts.
  • Greg Garcia was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI.
