The St. Louis Cardinals, who stand alone first place in the NL Central with MLB's top winning percentage, just lost two games at home to the Chicago White Sox, who are in last place in the AL Central, this week. Now they host the San Diego Padres, who are 37-43 and in second-to-last place in the NL West. Can the Redbirds end their two-game skid behind Tim Cooney, who is starting in place of the hurting (but not injured enough to place on the DL) Jaime Garcia?
