Tim Cooney makes his fifth start of the season and his career this afternoon for the 58-33 Cardinals as they try to finish off a three game sweep of the 47-44 Mets. The Cardinals managed to dodge both Matt Harvey and Jacob deGrom this series because the Mets set their schedule so the pair of elite pitchers will throw in both of the two upcoming series against the NL East leading Nationals.
