Hunt and Peck: The Cardinals are off to one of the team's best starts this millennium

As of June 5, here is how the Cardinals have done over the past fifteen years.

In 2015, the Cardinals are off to a historically great start, backed by the third best offense in the National League by wRC+ (tenth in MLB), and the NL and MLB's second best pitching staff by FIP and best by ERA. This combination of skill and good fortune has given the Cardinals the best record in baseball, but as we have seen in the past, it can all turn quickly, whether for the better or for the worse. There are 162 games in the baseball season, which means there are still 108 left to go. Let's hope it continues! Here are the Cardinals records on June 5 since 2000.
