Look, I don't know if this game is going to happen. It might rain. There might be meteors. Perhaps an enormous field of dandelions will let go of their seed all at once, wafting inches of fuzz snow into Busch Stadium and delaying the game. But hopefully instead there will be baseball played and we can root on our heroic Cardinals (50-24!!!) against the dastardly Cubs (39-34). Have I told you my theory that the scariest Cub is actually Jason Hammel because along with, even more than, Jake Arrieta he's proof that the Cubbie pitching coaches and front office are really good at their jobs? Do you remember what he was a few years ago? Well, he's good now. Anyway, Carlos Martinez is pitching! If not tonight because of rain or meteor or dandelion seed, then soon. And that's a good thing. Love one another and also yourselves. Go Cardinals.
