The St. Louis Cardinals' interleague tour of the American League Central continues this week. After dispensing of the first-place Kansas City Royals in a rematch of the 1985 World Series over the weekend, the Cards (41-21) host the second-place Minnesota Twins (34-28) for two games at Busch Stadium in a rematch of the 1987 World Series that will wrap up with two games in Minneapolis on Wednesday and Thursday (weather permitting, of course). This little scheduling quirk worked out well what with the Twinkies promoting Byron Buxton over the weekend and all.
#BFIB, I hope you've got your standing ovation shoes on.

I've been saving this pic of the Twins' old mascot for a special occasion such as this.
