Hello VEB,

This is your friendly, neighborhood Scooter addressing you. You may remember me from such posts as "Hunt and Peck: You have to see Hunter Pence's hair" and "Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks: The Rally Thread". Maybe you remember me from comments such as "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" and "Michael Wacha [heart emoji]". Anyway, I come to you with a task, and I know you are all ready for it.

For the past several years, Viva el Birdos community members and writers have participated in the Cardinals Care 6K, an annual race and fundraiser looking to raise money for the youth of the St. Louis area. It is quite a wonderful cause and one we proudly support. Last year, Aaron Finkel launched our first "official" t-shirt fundraising campaign featuring the lovable Carlos Martinez (although we have made t-shirts in the past). It was a resounding success and helped raise over $7,000. This year our ambitions have increased and we are once again launching the t-shirt fundraising campaign.

This year we are asking for your help in deciding what should be on the t-shirt and its design. We have one concept in mind featuring our half-shirted hero, Jim Edmonds and his Hall of Fame candidacy. In the begining stages, it looks a little something like this:

We would love to have your thoughts on how to improve this design, what color t-shirts it should go on, other designs or ideas to consider, or anything else you want to share! Remember, this is all to raise money for THE CHILDREN!
