For the second time in as many series the St. Louis Cardinals will play a rubber match in a finale. Today the Cards face off against the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium with the first pitch scheduled for 12:45 p.m. CT. The Cardinals will start John Lackey; the Brew Crew, righthander Mike Fiers.
According to Cardinals.com, manager Mike Matheny has penciled the following starting lineup:

- Jhonny Peralta, SS
- Mark Reynolds, 1B
- Jon Jay, CF

According to Brewers.com, Milwaukee center fielder Carlos Gomez suffered will not play today and is waiting to see if he'll miss "a couple of days or a lot" thanks to last night's hamstring injury. On Thursday afternoon the Milwaukee lineup will be:
