The St. Louis Cardinals (1-2) face off against the Cincinnati Reds (4-0) at the Great American Ballpark at 12:10 p.m. CT Saturday. The hitter-friendly ballpark played a part in last night's contest, with two Joey Votto opposite-field homers finding their way over the wall as the Reds edged the Cardinals out 5-4. Will the park effects play a role in today's game with Michael Wacha? The Aggie's 41.6% ground-ball rate would've ranked as the 29th-lowest in baseball among qualified starters had he tallied enough innings. In other words, Wacha is a fly-ball pitcher starting in a ballpark known for allowing flies to leave the yard. Great, now I've made myself nervous.
