Daily Farm Report: Rafael Ortega Belts Another Home Run

The Cardinals prospects went 3-0-2 against the Marlins system.

The Future Redbirds had a slate of games yesterday. All five teams were in action, and Rafael Ortega picked up right where he left off in big league camp.

Editors' Note: Players, and especially pitchers, often play for multiple different spring training "farm teams" during these back field contests, depending on throw days, rest, and who management wants to see on a given day. Therefore, just because a player is on the field for Memphis, it doesn't mean he'll start the year there.

Today will be another busy day for the Cardinals minor leaguers. The AAA and AA clubs will travel to Port St. Lucie to take on their counterparts in the Mets' system, and the A level clubs will host the Mets' A teams in Jupiter.
