The call for 2015 VEB Community projection submissions continues. For the uninitiated, VEB attempts to inject the human element into the MLB projections game. Instead of spreadsheets or regression formulas, the VEB Community submits the 2015 states they believe each St. Louis Cardinals player will end the season with and, at the end of the year, we look back and see how our collective wisdom compares to the more math-based player forecasts.
So far, we've sought your predicted stats for Adam Wainwright, Matt Adams, Michael Wacha, Matt Holliday, Lance Lynn, Matt Carpenter, John Lackey, Yadier Molina, and Carlos Martinez. If you have not yet submitted your predictions, you can do so here. You'll have to scroll down for each individual player post with submission form.
Today we move back to the position players and seek your projections for sophomore second baseman Kolten Wong, who, according to ESPN's Jayson Stark, has apparently achieved a whiff of proveyness to manager Mike Matheny.
You can find Wong's stats at Fangraphs and Baseball-Reference. Wong's SBN player page includes the network's writing on the Hawaiian (including VEB's).
Please feel free to discuss your projected stats in the comments (with spoiler tags) and the reasoning you used when filling out the form!
Update: As of April 1, 2015, Viva El Birdos is no longer accept Kolten Wong projection submissions. You can find all of the 2015 VEB Community projections here.
