We're a week into the VEB Community projections submissions. Here are the St. Louis Cardinals players we've covered so far:
- Adam Wainwright
- Matt Adams
- Michael Wacha
- Matt Holliday
- Lance Lynn
- Matt Carpenter
We're still accepting submissions for each player regardless of whether or not your are a registered VEB Community member. You can submit yours for players past right here. Remember, if you don't have a username, you won't be recognized at season's end for your incredibly accurate (or inaccurate) predictions.
Today we shift back to the rotation. With three down and two to go, I thought we'd go with the grizzled old salty bulldog himself, John Lackey. I chose Lackey because of the existential crisis jogging with a ballplayer who was born in the 1990s caused him.
"You want to talk about that? I just had to run with a guy born in the 90's" said John Lackey when asked about his live bp session today..

You can find Lackey's past stats at Fangraphs and Baseball-Reference. At Lackey's SBN player page, you can find the network's writing on the righty (including VEB's).
Feel free to discuss your predictions in the comments (using the spoiler tag to cover your stats) and the reasoning behind them!
Update: As of April 1, 2015, Viva El Birdos is no longer accept projection submissions for John Lackey. You can view the 2015 VEB Community projection results here.
