Okay fine, whatever. Anyway here are the nominees for Pitcher of Year.

The following candidates have been chosen through a very vigorous process by yours truly. It involved me going to Fangraphs and sorting all qualified pitchers by ERA- and then choosing the top five lowest. It is highly sophisticated, I know.

Oh, why did I not use FIP- instead? I think you will find that when you get this selective, it does not matter all that much. Also I do not care.

Zack Greinke

(ERA- 44, FIP-72)

Jake Arrieta

(ERA-45, FIP-60)

Clayton Kershaw

(ERA- 57, FIP- 52)

David Price

(ERA- 60, FIP- 68)

Dallas Keuchel

(ERA- 62, FIP- 71)
