Late Monday afternoon, MLB announced start times for the first two NLDS games between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
NLDS Game 1: Friday, October 3rd at 5:37 pm CT (FOX Sports 1) NLDS Game 2: Saturday, October 4th at 8:37 pm CT (MLB Network) #PostCards
— St. Louis Cardinals (@Cardinals) September 29, 2014
So we ought to have shadows creeping across the field at Dodger Stadium for Game 1, but at least those of us who live in the Midwest ought to be able to catch it after work.
From the MLB press release on Game 2:
MLB Network will exclusively televise Game Two of the National League Division Series featuring the St. Louis Cardinals at Los Angeles Dodgers with Bob Costas, Harold Reynolds, Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal on the call this Saturday, October 4 at 9:37 p.m. ET, live from Dodger Stadium. The telecast will be available across the country exclusively on MLB Network, including in the Cardinals’ and Dodgers’ home TV territories. Local channel listings are available at www.FindMLBNetwork.com.
There is no escaping the Reynolds-Verducci ignorance vortex. It is opening up and attempting to swallow Cardinals fans beginning in the NLDS. At least we'll have Costas, who will hopefully blunt the deluge of idiotic yammering from the two so-called analysts.
Also, MLB Network will be deploying X-MO for the game, one of my favorite inventions. Super-slo-mo of Cardinals swings!
Talk about this and whatever else you like in the comments. After all, it's an off-night for all of MLB.
