Charlotte's LF Josh Sale was the 17th overall pick in the 2010 draft, though he has struggled a bit in the pros, and was suspended 50 games last season for "violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program". He produced two singles in 5 ABs in this game.

Casey Weathers is another former first rounder playing for Charlotte, having been drafted as a closer out of Vanderbilt University by the Rockies in 2007. After just one full season in the minors, he underwent TJ surgery in 2008, missing the 2009 season. He missed last season as well. He struck out two in this game, recording five outs in total against just one hit.
