• Thus far this season Jonathan Cornelius has been hurt badly by the long ball, he has given up 7 in 37 innings pitched.

• Obviously not much in the way of highlights on offense. Casey Rasmus was the only Cardinal player with multiple hits. The Cardinals, as a team, failed to record an extra base hit.
• Unfortunately, the Cardinals wasted a brilliant start by Marco Gonzales. Gonzales now has 32 strikeouts and 8 walks issued through 37.2 innings.
