2014 VEB Community Projection Results: Shelby Miller

Rob Carr

So small sample size and all of that, but it seems like VEB's projections for pitchers track the professional projections systems much closer than the hitter projections. K/9 are similar, BB/9 are similar, and ERA are all pretty similar as well.

Moving onto the quartiles, there actually is quite a bit of variation. The minimum K/9 is 6.70, while the maximum is 10.10. BB/9 ranges from 2.35 to 3.40, and ERA ranges almost 2 whole points, from 2.62 to 4.53. However, looking at the VEB Low and VEB high, the two ERAs only differentiate by about .65 points of BB/9

CELEBRITY DOPPELGANGER: There is no consensus whatsoever, so, Josh Hutcherson, I guess? Good job Stevo5!
