St. Louis Cardinals 2014 VEB Community Projection Results: Kolten Wong

It's interesting to look at the projection systems on this one, because there looks to be two different camps: Oliver and PECOTA are both really pessimistic on Wong, seeing OPSes around .670 and wOBAs in the .295 range. Steamer and ZiPs are both a bit more optimistic, seeing OPSes in the .700 range and wOBAs around .310. VEB, per usual, is a little bit more optimistic, with a .723 OPS and .317 wOBA.

Moving onto VEB projections, there is a LOT of variability amongst users, and that makes sense. I don't really know where a .624 slugging percentage is coming from, but who am I to judge! There's a very large spread among all of the categories, but the median is looking at a .275/.330/.400 line, which would be perfectly acceptable to most.
