The St. Louis Cardinals did not play today. There were no MLB games today because it's November. But this doesn't mean that we can't enjoy watching baseball, ever if only via little snippets.
Tonight, we can do so via this fun video that Joe shared on Twitter. It's of new Cardinals right fielder Jason Heyward (as a member of the Braves) making a sensational diving catch. The highlight doesn't stop there, though, as it also gives us a look at MLBAM's new tracking technology.
I can't wait for the outfield grass at Busch Stadium to turn green and Cardinals baseball to start up again. Heyward is going to look great patrolling the green grass of right field for the Cards next season. Feel free to talk about that (and whatever else you desire) in tonight's VEB After Dark open thread.
