  • Another series of posts fourstick and I thought up was a series of profiles on the members of the Cardinals 40-man roster who are unlikely to break camp this spring on the 25-man roster. I've always referred to these players as "The Other 15," so that's what the title. I introduced the series on Sunday morning with a 40-man roster matrix.

  • With Peter Bourjos expressing his goal of swiping 40 bags in 2014, Craig examined the Cardinals' history of 40-plus stolen bases.
  • I took a look at Yadi's improvement as a hitter by charting how his rankings in relation to his MLB peers in various offensive stats have gone from in the 200s to the top 30 over the course of his career.
  • Joe considered Tony La Russa's decision to have no team logo depicted on his Hall of Fame bust and delivered his hot sports take on the matter.

  • Joe delivered an in-depth analysis of why he thinks the Cards should use Trevor Rosenthal as a starter in 2014.
  • Craig looked at what we can expect from Jon Jay on defense in 2014, based on the defensive metrics of past players who were coming off a bad defensive year.
  • Lil' Scooter debuted her "Hunt and Peck" recurring feature. She'll be collecting links on the Cardinals and sharing them with us throughout the year.
