well, if you're going to make ANY headway against the phillies in a four-game series, the game against kyle kendrick seems like as good a chance as any. kendrick has, for reasons unclear, hung on for intermittent and surprisingly long runs as a starting pitcher for the phillies. kendrick is sort of like what kyle mcclellan, long-term starting pitcher might have been for the cardinals. let's do something today, because tomorrow is a roy halla-day. not that we haven't beaten that guy before.
